Hello. I am a leading UX designer and XR program manager in accelerated XR use cases for media and entertainment.
I am currently the head of UX at Canopy Pilot, a VR parachute flight simulator startup focusing on entertainment and professional skydive training products.
In 2015 I joined Verizon where I was the head of UX and content at the XR Labs. I was in charge of a team of artists, UX designers, and technologists creating industry-leading XR experiences that set out the vision for products exploiting XR Labs capabilities; coordinated demos at industry trades shows and events; and evangelized XR Labs product offerings.
As a former architect, and since my graduate days at UCLA, I always looked forward to a connected future of immersive human-machine interaction (now XR technologies), mobile technologies (just starting at the time), and a contiguous fabric of interactive medias (now social medias).
I have carried that torch of conviction ever since. I led in a number of award-winning world firsts as 3d game engines for browsers, the first web-based interactive 3D automobile shopping experiences, the first online interactive 3d ad formats, and as a professor of integrated digital media at NYU where I instructed game design.
